Hector Elizondo is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent who has appeared in over 80 films and numerous television series. Elizondo is best known for his role as hotel manager Mr. Thompson in the classic romantic comedy “Pretty Woman” in 1990.

Starting his acting career in the 1960s, Hector has worked with several notable directors like Garry Marshall. Even at the age of 86, Hector continues to work in the entertainment industry and is widely regarded as one of the most talented and loved actors.

Hector’s father, Martin, used to work as a notary public and an accountant.

Hector has only one sibling. His sister’s name is Emma Elizondo.

Hector married Carolee as his third wife, on April 13, 1969. In more than half-century of their married life, Hector and Carolee never had children together.

Hector Elizondo got married to his first wife Marie Riveria when he was in college.

Hector became a father when he was just 19. Hector and Riveria’s son’s name was Rodd Elizondo.

Rodd was born on September 5, 1956, and died on February 24, 2017, when he was just 60 years old. Even after so many years, it's still not clear what happened to Hector Elizondo's son Rodd. The reason behind his death isn’t out. Rodd himself was a married man and had children too.

The two parted ways in 1957, shortly after their son was born, and Hector gained Rodd’s full custody.
