The year 1992 was a memorable year for Kemp as he was hired at Minneapolis' KQRS-FM. The legendary weatherman was hired by KLOS-FM in 1997. He was only employed there for one year. In 1998, he started working at ABC7 as an evening anchor. He was the host of the show, which aired on weekends at 5, 6, and 11.
