Parker Foster was born to Clay Aiken and his best friend, Jaymes Foster. They conceived their son via in vitro fertilization.
Jaymes Foster is an American singer-songwriter and the sister of Canadian musician and composer David Foster.
During an interview with AP radio, David talked about Parker and Jaymes' parenthood by saying,
“She's very close with Clay; they're best friends. It made perfect sense to me that he'd want to have a child with his best friend”
He further said that Parker is a spectacular father and Jaymes is a natural mother.
Since both of them always wanted a child, the decision to give birth to Parker worked out.
