Gionna Jene Daddio (Liv Morgan), who was born on June 8, 1994, in Morristown, New Jersey, and grew up in Elmwood Park, had four elder brothers and a sister when she was growing up. Her mother raised the six children by herself when her father passed away.

In November 2017, Liv Morgan made her main roster debut on SmackDown Live as a member of the Riott Squad along with Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott attacking Charlotte Flair, Naomi, and Becky Lynch.
The following week, The Riott Squad made its ring debut and defeated Flair, Naomi, and Natalya. Morgan took part in both the 20-woman WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and the first women's Royal Rumble in January 2018.
The Riott Squad lost the Evolution pay-per-view after being selected for Raw in April 2018.
Morgan competed in the women's Royal Rumble in January 2019; however, she was the first to be eliminated, breaking the previous record. When The Riott Squad was disbanded as part of the Superstar Shake-up in April, Liv Morgan was sent to the SmackDown brand. Morgan turned on Charlotte Flair in a match in July and lost by submission.
In July, Liv Morgan participated in the Money in the Bank ladder match but lost. She defeated Carmella in the pre-show of Extreme Rules in September. This was during 2021 and 2022.
After 2022, Liv Morgan established herself as a villain. She took part in a number of matches, including the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match, the Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania.
After being sent to Raw, she eventually won the Money in the Bank contract and used it to buy the SmackDown Women's Championship. She held the championship successfully until Ronda Rousey defeated her at Extreme Rules.
