Alison Starling’s Family Life With Husband And Kids

Alison balanced the demanding schedule of a news anchor for years, but when she left her anchor job, she stated that she wanted to spend more of her time with her beautiful family.

She explained that as her children grew older, she wanted the opportunity to be more present in their daily lives.

Alison has two daughters named Ava and Emma with her husband, Peter Alexander. Her husband, Peter, is a prominent journalist and Chief White House Correspondent for NBC News.

Alison and Peter first met in 2001 while both were working as reporters in Seattle. They stayed friends for nearly a decade before beginning a romantic relationship in 2010.

Peter proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Alison, during a trip to Paris in 2011, and got married a year later on April 21, 2012, at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

Alison then got pregnant with their first child and welcomed their daughter, Ava Starling Alexander, born in July 2013. Their youngest daughter, Emma Pink Alexander, was born in June 2015.
