The anonymous email reported the sexual harassment and predatory behavior that the company was allegedly trying to cover up and protect the person accountable.

The person who was directed in the email was Sebrechts, who was CC’d in the email sent along with his wife, Stewart.

Natly also shared some of the messages sent by former Miss USA contestants, which showed Sebrechts flirting with them.

But the accusations didn't stop there. The 2023 FX documentary "How to Fix a Pageant" featured former contestants who made even more damaging claims.

The fallout was swift. The couple stepped down from their positions in August 2023 and largely retreated from public life.

At the time, it seemed like a strategic move to let the controversy die down, but it turns out the damage to their relationship may have been irreparable.
