Tom has been balancing his personal and professional life. As for his kids, he has two daughters who are already following their career paths.

His daughters’ names are Charlotte Costello and Chloe Costello.

Charlotte is Tom and his wife’s firstborn, who is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. She has a master’s degree in nursing from JHU.

She was a second-year nurse in the Silberman Family Special Care Nursery at Sibley in 2023. In an article published in Sibley Memorial Hospital Nursing Annual Report of Fiscal Year 2022, Charlotte said,

“In nursing school, there are so many topics thrown at you, and everything is important. The nurse residency program’s monthly seminar took those same topics from nursing school and parsed them down to what was most important. The sessions helped me understand the priorities for patient care, and I was able to zero in on a few key areas to focus on in my first year of nursing.”

Their youngest daughter is Chloe Costello, who graduated from the University of Maryland with cum Laude. Chloe has two bachelor’s degrees in Government & Politics and Theatre Performance.

Chloe works as a Senior Manager of Development Events at the White House Historical Association. Previously, she worked at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City and Imagination Stage in Bethesda, Maryland where she advanced executive and board initiatives.

Chloe also has an experience in supporting global fundraising and public diplomacy efforts when working at the United Nations and the Embassy of Belgium.

Back in May 2020, Tom opened up about his daughters and their educational background on Today Show. He even expressed how proud he is of his daughters.

Tom and his family even celebrated Chloe’s graduation and shared some glimpses from the celebration on X (which was previously called Twitter).

Tom Costello’s Married Life And Wife

Tom has been blissfully married to his wife Astrid Boon Costello for many years now. His wife Astrid is originally from Brussels, Belgium.

She is known to the public because of her marital relationship with the NBC correspondent. However, Astrid has been successful in concealing her professional background and her job.

Despite her husband’s fame as a journalist, she has opted to stay away from the limelight.

Tom also hasn’t revealed much about his wife and their married life. However, he occasionally shares his wife’s picture on social media.

The family of four went to Greece in September 2022 for their holiday. Tom also shared a beautiful family picture with his wife and daughters on Instagram.

Tom attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 1987.

Later, he joined Boston University and graduated with a master’s degree in Administration/International Commerce in 1996.

Years later, Tom joined Harvard University to receive a certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management. He also received an honorary doctor of letters degree from Capitol Technology University on April 29, 2023.
