Parminder’s married life with her then-husband turned sour as time passed so she filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court on 8th February 2012, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The duo had a bitter divorce battle which ended in Parminder’s victory. James claimed that Parminder was hiding the money from her acting job so she won’t have to give up any of her income.
According to him, he also gave up his £200,000-a-year photographer’s job to manage their life in America.
As per the statement, Parminder was awarded all her income, residuals, and royalties. She also received their $700,000 California home and their $1.5 million property in the UK. She additionally received all the money from the pair's rental property, and three of their four cars.

Parminder Nagra’s ex-husband James Stenson is a celebrity photographer with an extensive experience as a creative director and content contributor.
James has been working as a Freelance Director of Photography since 2018. He is also working as DP, Director, and Creative Director Freelance for Proactiv Company, Nestle Skin Care since December 2016.
