He entered a guilty plea to conspiring to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, and securities fraud on July 17, 2020. Later on March 4, 2021, he was given a sentence of eight years in prison.
He received a sentence much longer than his partners as he had a major role in the scam that Centra Tech created.
He was ordered to pay a $20,000 fine, forfeit $36,088,960, and serve a three-year supervised release period. Reportedly, the victims have not received any kind of support for the loss that Sam and his team caused.
Robert was sentenced to one year in prison while Ray only received a time-served penalty.
Sohrab is currently in the Federal Prison Camp situated in Montgomery, Alabama.
