As they were unaware of the procedure and had little to no knowledge of parenthood, they were encouraged and guided by many by providing parenting hacks. She even thanked the one who listened to Teyonah cry at 3 in the morning on the phone call.
Furthermore, Atlanta's Baby Consultant was also a great help to Teyonah for consultations.
A couple of months later, Teyonah and her daughter were featured on EBONY’s Mother’s Day issue where she revealed how blessed she feels to be chosen to be her mother.
She also talked about motherhood, saying it is challenging but also worth it.

When Teyonah got pregnant with her first child, her mother surprised her with a ‘Mother/ Daughter Baby Moon.’ She wrote:-
