Madison Cawthorn is a Republican primary winner who would have been the youngest member of Congress if he had been elected in November 2020.
He made the headlines in June after defeating his opponent Lynda Bennett, a Donald Trump-backed candidate, with 65.82% of the vote.
Madison is a former U.S. representative for North Carolina's 11th congressional district from the year 2021 to 2023.

Madison Cawthorn’s ex-wife Cristina Bayardelle is a twenty-nine-year-old anesthesiologist assistant. She is also a CrossFit athlete.
According to an Instagram post shared in June of 2020, she was ‘taking her state boards for anesthesia.’
As per Cristina’s Facebook page, she attended Florida International University. Before that, she studied at Archbishop McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches, Florida. She lives in Fort Lauderdale.
