Eric Allen Stonestreet was born on September 9, 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas, U.S.A.

Eric’s parents are Jamey Anne and Vincent Stonestreet. He has a sister named Mauria Stonestreet.

His mother Jamey works as a teacher’s aide and his father Vincent is a retail business owner.

At a very young age, Eric thought of becoming a clown and created a clown character named Fizbo which was later used for a clown character on Modern Family.

Eric used to go to children’s birthday parties as a clown when he was just 11 years old.

For his higher school studies, Eric went to Piper High School. Later, he went to Kansas State University for further college studies.

He graduated from Kansas University with a degree in sociology.

After his graduation, Eric made a few stage appearances in act plays and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional acting career.

The couple started dating back in June 2016 after they first met in Kansa City Royals. Lindsay is a pediatric nurse.

Eric shared more about his engagement and said:-

"We've been together for a long time and I just knew I wasn't going to find a better partner in life than Lindsay. So it just made the most sense. And I'd taken my sweet old time."

Eric is seven years older than his fiancée. Some people and media criticized Eric Stonestreet for being too old for his fiancée.
