As Marvel is expanding its variation and characters, it introduced the MCU’s first Muslim-American superhero Kamala Khan in the series Ms. Marvel.
While the show consists of several new characters, one among them is Travina Springer.
Travina is an American actress and writer who is known for portraying the role of Tyesha.
Her character was engaged to Kamala’s brother Aamir at the beginning of the series but little did Tyesha know how wild the family of the person she was marrying would turn out.
Despite not being the main character, Tyesha makes a significant impact, especially on Black Muslims in America on Ms. Marvel.
Travina Springer Family- Parents and Siblings
Travina Springer was born as the eldest child of her parents. She has a younger sister named Ebony Springer who was born in May 1984.
Growing up, she mostly was raised on military bases or in the suburbs of various cities.
Her dad was an Army Military Intelligence Officer due to which Travina’s family moved to various parts of the country before finally settling in Oviedo, Florida.
The constant shift in her life due to her father’s profession helped Travia learn how to adapt to new environments and connect with new people.

Travina was raised in Oviedo, Florida where she received her early education.
Later, she graduated with a Communication degree from Florida State University. During her Uni days, she learned ideas to bring characters to life on stage through acting and theatre classes.
After her graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in acting.
She began her acting career by appearing as short Lana in Muslim Seinfeld in 2009. Since then, Travina has been making appearances in various movies and TV series.
