His parents are Jay Leonard Michaels and Lila Roginsky. Michael grew up in a family of five with his parents, a brother David Michaels, and a sister Susan Michaels.
Michael also completed his high school education from his birthplace New York. He went to Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford, New York.
It was hard for his parents to complete the education of three children and give them a good life due to which they had to move to Los Angeles.
