Elliott is the great-nephew of Amelia Boynton, a civil rights icon known as the leader of the Selma voting rights movement. He is also the cousin of Bruce Boynton.
Elliott became committed to justice after graduating from Radford University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
He then pursued his Master’s degree in Public Administration from American University in 2024.
