Sam Darnold and Katie Hoofnagle’s relationship first came to light on Sam’s birthday in June 2023 when Katie wished him his 26th birthday by sharing a series of their pictures.

But Katie had already given a hint about her relationship with Sam on her April 2023 Instagram carousel. She captioned the post as “happy little moments,” where she had shared a selfie with Sam Darnold.

Fast forward to November 2025, Katie and Sam are now engaged to be married.

Sam proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Katie, in July 2025. Katie shared some pictures from their engagement on her Instagram writing, “YES!!!!!”

Katie has been giving glimpses of their relationship through her social media posts. She is often seen at Seahawks games showing support for her future husband.
