Their son Delano, whom they call Del, was born in 2014.
Two years after giving birth to Del, Czarniak got pregnant with their second child.
In November of 2016, the duo became parents to a baby girl named Sybil "Sibby" Ann.

He was born to his parents Betty Melvin and Lawrence Melvin. Talking about Melvin’s siblings, he has an older half-brother named Rev. Lawrence and a younger brother, Ryan Melvin.
Melvin was missing from Today for the second week in a row in July 2023 because of which many of his fans wondered where he was and whether he left NBC.
Although Al Roker stated that Melvin was on a vacation fans were eager to see Melvin on-screen again.
Melvin returned to the show on July 25 and stated that he was on vacation with his family and brothers.
During his first appearance on the show, he opened up that he was having a blast while vacationing with family.
Melvin said,
"We went down last week, me, my younger brother, and my older brothers and all their kids went on vacation, beach, pool, beach, pool."
