Although Albert initially denied fathering a daughter with another woman terming her as extortionate and mentally unstable, DNA testing confirmed him as the father after. Following the confirmation, he was ordered to provide child support payments in the year 1998.
In February of 1999, Albert was convicted of conspiracy and tax evasion between the years 1988 and 1997. But even during that time, she stood by her husband and criticized the investigation as "invasive and hostile."
