Everything About Seth Doane's Husband Andrea Pastorelli

It’s hard not to remember Rome when you think of the city of love. Many of you might have already been there, and many of you might have a dream to visit there with the love of your life someday.

But for CBS News correspondent Seth Doane and his husband, Andrea Pastorelli, that dream is their everyday life.

Seth is a CBS News correspondent based in Rome, while his husband, Andrea, works passionately in the nonprofit sector.

What Is Andrea Pastorelli’s Job?

Andrea Pastorelli is more than just the husband of a TV correspondent. Andrea has carved out an impressive career of his own by working with nonprofit organizations and international institutions.

He has been working as the Head of Region for Europe for Teach For All since June 2025.

Andrea is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Teach For Italy.

Andrea started his career after earning a Master’s Degree in International Development and Environment from King’s College London in 2005.

He was the Programme Officer at the Clinton Foundation for around five months from August 2005 to December 2005.

He then joined UNDP as a Programme Analyst for the Bureau for Development Policy in January 2006. After working there for more than 3 years, he started working in the Regional Office in West Africa in the same position.

According to Andrea Pastorelli’s LinkedIn, he was the Programme Analyst for the Human Rights and Governance Cluster from January 2009 to May 2013.

Andrea was the Head of the Poverty, Equity, and Governance Team at UNDP from June 2013. He left UNDP in July 2016 after more than 10 years of involvement in the UN's lead agency for international development.

Two months later, he joined the IOM – UN Migration as a Program Coordinator. He worked there from September 2016 to October 2018, and after that, he founded Teach for Italy in January 2019.

Andrea Pastorelli’s Education

Andrea attended Goldsmiths, University of London, and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Cultural Studies in June 2003.

He then enrolled at King’s College London and pursued a Master’s degree. Andrea studied International Development and the Environment from 2003 to 2005.

Seth Doane and Andrea Pastorelli’s Married Life

Andrea Pastorelli and Seth Doane have now been married for more than a decade. They tied the wedding knot on September 7, 2014, after many years of dating.

Andrea has kept his Instagram private, but Seth has been giving glimpses into their married life occasionally.

Recently, he shared some pictures from their Asia trip on Instagram. Seth’s caption revealed that they went for a Thailand trip, which was brief but full of memories.

Seth has always wished his partner on his birthday and on their wedding anniversaries.

Back in April 2019, Seth shared some pictures of Andrew from Bethlehem, West Bank, and wished him on his birthday.

Seth described his husband as someone who is always up for a good adventure and who brings light and energy with him everywhere.

A year later, he again shared a series of pictures of his husband on Instagram, wishing him on his birthday. The couple was in quarantine amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, so they reviewed pictures from previous outings.

The couple recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. On their 10th wedding anniversary in 2024, Seth shared some pictures from their wedding on a thread wishing his husband.

He wrote, “Ten years ago today we were surrounded by so much love from family and friends… I can still feel it today” as he wished 10 years of togetherness as husbands to his life partner, Andrea.
