The football world lost the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins on Saturday, April 9. He passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning after being struck by a car in south Florida.
Dwayne, who would have turned 25 on May 3, was training with his Steelers teammates in Florida. He was featured once during his debut year but was expected to compete for Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback job with Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph later this summer.

The late NFL star Dwayne Haskins’ wife is Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins. Kalabrya is a former college basketball player. She played for the Lady Spartans of Michigan State.
Currently, she is a licensed medical esthetician and cosmetic laser technician. As per her LinkedIn profile, she has “a distinguished understanding of laser treatments and skincare routines.”
She was born in the year 1995 in Bent Harbor, Michigan. Kalabrya, whose birthday is on December 18, is currently at the age of 26.
As for her education, she attended Michigan State University from where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies in 2019. Dwayne got married to Kalabrya on March 19, 2021, and had been married for a year. They went to Vegas to renew their vows but following their trip to Vegas, Kalabrya was arrested after allegedly knocking out Haskins’ tooth during a fight at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas.
According to reports, Kalabrya was mad at Dwayne for going to nightclub with friends without waiting for her. She then had a fight with Dwayne where the NFL player suffered inuring including a split upper lip. As per the reports, he required dental work to repair the tooth that was knocked out during the violence and stitches for the busted lip.
However, Dwayne later took Instagram to write, “However, I have all of my teeth. Don’t believe everything you read. Peace.”
Despite all the news about the feud that surfaced on the Internet, the couple shared their lovey-dovey pictures on Instagram exhibiting their love for each other.
In December 2021, Dwayne shared a series of pictures with his wife wishing her on her birthday stating how proud he has been of her accomplishments. Likewise, Kalabrya also shared pictures with her husband on Valentine’s Day on Instagram with the caption, “She’ll do anything necessary for him, & he’ll do anything necessary for her. So don't let the necessary occur…” #HappyValentinesDay ?”.
The couple, who were married for a year, did not have any children.
