It was love at first sight for both Vanessa and Hakim, according to her husband. The sparks between the couple started to fly when they had to glance at each other at the beginning of the meeting.
Hakim’s colleague pointed out the obvious when Vanessa excused herself to freshen up before the meeting.
Hakim asked Vanessa for lunch after the meeting, and the rest is history.

Hakim asked Vanessa to meet him on time at their dinner reservation on a warm summer Friday night. Famished Vanessa rushed to the restaurant to be on time.
Meanwhile, Hakim told her that they needed to talk, which made Vanessa confused. Her heart sank because of his seemingly solemn demeanor.
She even thought that he was breaking up as he said that he was done, and it was not just enough being her boyfriend.
However, he surprised her with a Cracker Jack ring by reaching to put on his shoes and pulling out the ring.
Hakim always joked about wanting to propose to Vanesa with a Cracker Jack ring. She couldn’t believe that he did it in real, but also thought that her real ring was coming later.
She accepted his proposal as she was moved by his romantic gesture, but she was on cloud nine when he pulled out her diamond engagement ring.
Vanessa and Hakim then got married on May 3, 2013, and recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

How Many Children Does Vanessa Freeman Have?
Vanessa is a mother of two kids. She got pregnant with her baby no 1 back in 2019.
She shared her pregnancy journey with all her Instagram followers by sharing pictures flaunting her baby bump.
Vanessa also celebrated her baby shower with her friends and family in July 2019. Later that year, in September, she gave birth to their first baby— their son Zaid Sabur.
Vanessa shared a picture of her newborn baby on her Instagram to announce his arrival. She captioned the picture saying that her son is the best present she could ever have asked for her birthday.
He was born on Labor Day on September 2, weighing 10lb 11oz. Every year, Vanessa shares sweet picture with her son to wish him on his birthday.
While her son is frequently seen on her social media posts, her daughter (her second baby) has been a private figure to us.
